Elmhurst, IL – The American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI), the leading trade association representing the dairy ingredients industry, recently announced the appointment of officers for the upcoming 2013-2015 term, which included the selection of Craig Alexander of O-AT-KA Milk Products Cooperative, Inc., as President of ADPI.
"I am honored to serve as President of the American Dairy Products Institute," says Alexander. "It's a great opportunity to help lead this association representing the manufactured dairy products and ingredients industry. It is an exciting time for the dairy-based ingredients industry in general as well as for ADPI, as the organization recently unveiled their new vision, strategic plan and logo earlier this year. I look forward to the challenge of representing the association and the dairy ingredients industry."
Alexander succeeds Greg Dryer from Saputo Cheese USA, whose two year term as President had concluded. Dryer will continue to serve on the board of directors.
The official announcement was made during the ADPI 2013 Annual Meeting, which was held in Chicago, Illinois earlier this year. The new slate of officers includes Vice President Steve Dott (Grande Cheese Company); Secretary Doug Wilke (Foremost Farms USA) and Treasurer Jerry O'Dea (Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc.).
