SIOUX CITY | A person who spends a keen amount of attention and energy on knowing the ingredients and its proper preparation while gaining enjoyment from food.

That in a nutshell, is a "foodie."

And it's a description that Ed Camenzend wears like a badge of honor.

"There's just something about food that's always piqued my interest," the Hy-Vee chef explained. "I'm always learning new tricks, recipes and ingredients."

Which is impressive since Camenzend is just a few weeks away from his 72nd birthday.
