When it comes to feeding babies and toddlers, bananas remain top of the list for most Irish parents – according to the results of the annual National Parenting Product Awards.
For the fourth time in the competition’s five year history, ‘Freddy Fyffes’ – the popular pre-packed bananas from Irish banana producer Fyffes – were the chosen winner in the Food and Feeding section based on research conducted by Millward Brown amongst parents and experts in Dublin, Cork and Limerick.
Accepting the award at a prize-giving ceremony held at the Westbury Hotel, Dublin recently, Fyffes marketing manager Emma Hunt-Duffy said: “At a time when parents are becoming more and more conscious of the food their little ones eat, we are delighted that Freddy Fyffes has once again been recognised for its natural and nourishing qualities ”.
