You've probably heard the name Sartori connected to cheese for most of your life.

The company's founder, Paolo Sartori, immigrated to the United States in 1939 and embarked on a venture his family continues to grow, evolve and improve nearly 75 years later.

Sartori was from a tiny town called Valdastico in the northern Italian Alps. He settled in Wisconsin's dairy country and within a year cofounded S&R Cheese Corp. with partner Louis Rossini.
