The Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board has announced its Seafood Stakeholders Summit will take place Wednesday, November 16th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Houma, Louisiana. Join us as we unveil our marketing campaign and learn how the creative elements will work to restore consumer perception about the seafood industry. Afterward, join us for a reception and talk to local fishermen, processors, retailers, and tourism officials. There is no cost to attend, but registration is limited to the first 100 people. Attendees will be treated to delicious dishes, industry education and topics ranging from the state of Louisiana’s fisheries and consumer perception of our seafood to the state of tourism and seafood’s economic impact. Attendees will also have the opportunity to join in one of three break-out sessions that will focus on the following: commercial fisheries, processor/retail as well as tourism/economic development.
