Rhode Island Dairy Co-Op Behind Rhody Fresh Milk Now Delivers

CRANSTON, R.I. — The Rhode Island Dairy Farms Cooperative, which produces Rhody Fresh milk, now has logo-emblazoned trucks on the road delivering milk products to a growing network of retail outlets. In addition, the cooperative has recently added direct customer support and invoicing for its store customers.
Through a partnership with Guida Dairy, which processes the cooperative's milk, two Rhody Fresh-branded delivery trucks join the fleet of trucks that deliver to retail stores, college dining services and other sales outlets in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. The trucks are designed to be "mobile billboards," building brand awareness while traveling their routes.
"The support and loyalty of Rhody Fresh consumers have enabled the Cooperative to expand, creating jobs and adding distributors in Rhode Island," said Stephen Volpe, assistant executive director. "We're proud to be a driving part of a local-food economy that is vibrant and growing. Building the Rhody Fresh brand has enabled dairy farmers to thrive, while providing consumers with a fresh, local choice."
