Generation Farms Appoints Jim Gallagher As President

Lake Park, GA – Generation Farms, a leading producer of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Southeastern U.S., today announced the appointment of agricultural industry veteran Jim Gallagher to the newly created position of President. Mr. Gallagher assumed the role on September 1.

In overseeing continued growth of the business, Mr. Gallagher will work closely with Generation Farms’ existing management team, including General Manager of Onion Operations ,Vince Stanley, General Manager of Agriculture Operations Mike Coggins, General Manager of Vegetable Operations Jamie Brannen and Director of Agriculture Joe English.

“I can’t wait to roll up my sleeves with my new colleagues to ensure that Generation Farms achieves even higher standards for efficiency and sustainable agriculture, building on the outstanding initiatives the team already has in place,” Mr. Gallagher said. “All of us are committed to strengthening Generation Farms customer-first culture by shoring up service and support. Prior to joining Generation Farms, Mr. Gallagher served most recently as the Chief Executive Officer of Fruit Patch where he led diversification efforts into new fruit categories, as well as General Manager of organicgirlä where he dramatically accelerated retail sales. In taking on his new role, Mr. Gallagher’s immediate priorities at Generation Farms will include building out the company’s revenue stream, improving operations and strengthening sales management, food safety and environmental stewardship.
