S&D Coffee Of Concord To Be Bought By Canadian Beverage Company

S&D Coffee in Concord has a $355-million deal to be bought by a Canadian beverage company.

The 89-year-old private company that supplies coffee and other beverages to companies such as McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A will keep its executives and name and operate as a subsidiary of Cott Corp., the buyer.

S&D CEO Ron Hinson says the Cott-S&D deal is a good fit.

“We could not be more pleased by what the future holds for our stakeholders, including employees and customers, due to this new strategic combination,” he says. “The synergies S&D has with Cott, whether technology, supply chain, product, distribution channels or markets, are abundantly clear.”
