GFSI participants are recognized worldwide as adhering to the highest standards in the food-manufacturing industry.
Morning Kiss Organic is among the first companies to receive the AA Food Safety Rating, an excellence level that was introduced with BRC Food Issue 7 in 2015 to foster continuous improvement amongst participants. The rarely award AA rating is a result of Morning Kiss Organic’s exceptional safety practices, impeccably clean distribution center, and dedication to employee training. Over the multi-day audit this spring, BRC inspectors reviewed key components of food safety to ensure programs are in place as follows – cleaning and sanitation, pest control, maintenance program, personal hygiene, staff training, supplier control, receiving, shipping and storage, chemical, metal, brittle plastic & glass control, waste management and traceability program.
