How Technicolor Bread Could Brighten Catering Prospects

Green and orange is the new brown and white -– well, when it comes to bread anyway.
Ordinary, normal, boring bread has just had an up-grade, according to some of the chefs who unveiled the Arc En Ciel (French for rainbow) range of breads at this year’s Sirha restaurant and hospitality show in Lyon, France.
Amid the thousands of stands, the brightly colored breads stood out, carved into different shapes for all kinds of weird uses.
The bread, which comes in flavors ranging from curry to seaweed, has been developed by luxury caterer Lenotre, part of the Accor Hotel group, and Brittany-based baker Bridor.
