Marlo's Bakeshop's Adds Brown Sugar Coffee Cake Flavor To Soft-Baked Biscotti Lineup

Marlo’s Bakeshop is ecstatic to announce the addition of the new Brown Sugar Coffee Cake flavor to its signature line of gourmet soft-baked biscotti. Inspired by the classic coffee cakes from east coast bakeries of her youth, Marlo’s Bakeshop CEO/Founder Marlo Gertz created a portable & dunk-able version of the beloved snack cake in cookie form. “This flavor is so unique & addictive because it really tastes like a fresh slice of coffee cake but you eat it like a cookie,” Gertz explains. “We just gave it a satisfying crunch by baking it twice and elevated the flavor profile by making it with premium, Non-GMO ingredients.”

Marlo’s Bakeshop specializes in a line of soft-baked biscotti based on Gertz’s Russian grandmother’s secret recipe for twice-baked cookies that are more “gentle on your dental” than their traditional Italian brethren.  “Our cookies provide the pleasantly gentle crunch you’d expect from biscotti but without the ‘break your tooth’ texture that a lot of consumers dislike.” They have been called ‘biscotti with the soul of a cookie’ by fans.

The newest Brown Sugar Coffee Cake flavor is an irresistible blend of toasted pecans and Guittard semi-sweet chocolate chips with a cinnamon brown sugar crumble on top.
