On Tuesday specialty grocer The Fresh Market announced the closure of 13 locations across the U.S., included a handful of stores in the Houston area.
Stores will be closed on May 18, according to a release from the company's public relations department.
The grocer will close all of its store locations in Texas, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. The company currently operates 175 stores in 23 states across the country.
