Vintage Grocers To Open Second Location At The Promenade At Westlake

LOS ANGELES — Vintage Grocers, a curated community-minded market and retailer of gourmet, organic, natural and conventional foods, is excited to announce its newest location at The Promenade at Westlake in fall 2016. Vintage Grocers— whose first location anchors the beautiful grounds of Trancas Country Market located in the heart of West Malibu— has partnered with leading retail developer Rick Caruso and Caruso Affiliated to expand its presence in Los Angeles.

"We're excited to build on the success of Vintage Grocers and engage another neighborhood in the experience of the store," said Paige Laurie, owner of Vintage Grocers & Trancas Country Market. "Caruso Affiliated has had a transformative effect on Ventura County, and we're thrilled to be part of their premier dining and retail destination, The Promenade at Westlake."

"At Caruso Affiliated, we align ourselves with strong tenants that offer the utmost level of quality in their business," said Kloe Colacarro, head of leasing for Caruso Affiliated. "Vintage Grocers is no exception as we welcome them into our community and we are excited to add another exceptional merchant to our growing portfolio."

Double the size of the current store, the second Vintage Grocers location will offer an even wider range of in-store products from the finest meats, produce and seafood to fruits, vegetables and more— sourced from Southern California's leading food establishments and local artisans. Further enhancing the new space, Vintage Grocers at The Promenade at Westlake will feature a private wine tasting room, fresh poke, olive bars, as well as pressed juices daily. In addition, the new store will include expanded bakery, meat and seafood selections, and a variety of grab-and-go stations such as burrito, pizza, ice cream and coffee bars.

With a vision to offer a market experience that accommodates many demographics and embraces all food beliefs, Vintage Grocers was developed by Laurie in collaboration with Eric Fuchser, the store's Market Director. Embodying key facets of the original market while incorporating elements of the new environment— Vintage Grocers Westlake Village is set to become a distinguished destination in the community, bringing a truly intimate experience to everyday grocery shopping.

"Vintage Grocers was created as a place where exceptional foods and relationships are deeply rooted in the shopping experience," said Eric Fuchser, Market Director of Vintage Grocers. "We're excited to join the Westlake Village community and introduce a new standard of excellence in food and customer service."

Vintage Grocers at The Promenade at Westlake is scheduled to open in fall 2016 and will be located at 140 Promenade Way, Westlake Village.
