Pure Hothouse Foods Inc. is announcing a significant milestone in its supply chain transformation, with the new fully operational 60,000 square foot distribution center in San Antonio, Texas.
‘The expansion was initiated in response to an increase in business activity in the southern region’ said Jeff Moracci, CFO of Pure Hothouse Foods. ‘Our improved supply chain and delivery capability will significantly enhance our operational efficiency and reduce food miles by providing shorter travel time and a better capability of handling with products coming from our Mexico operations.’
Furthermore with the company expansion, the multi-phase greenhouse expansion built near the company headquarters in Leamington, Ontario, is expected to pick as early as spring 2016 to support the company growth.
