Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, CFD, PFCI Named President Of American Institute Of Floral Designers

BALTIMORE – Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, CFD, PFCI of Designer Destination in Tucson, Ariz. was installed as President of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) during the organization's 2015 National Symposium held in Denver, June 30-July 4. She succeeds Tim Farrell AIFD, CFD, AAF, PFCI of Farrell’s Florist in Drexel Hill, Pa. as the volunteer leader of the floral industry's leading organization in design education.

Installed as AIFD’s President-Elect was Anthony Vigliotta AIFD, CFD of Anthos Design in Los Angeles, Calif. Kim Oldis AIFD, CFD of Details…..it's all about the flowers in LaConner, Wash was elected to serve as the Institute's vice president. Frank Feysa AIFD, CFD of Garden Gate Inc. in Aurora, Ohio was elected to serve as the secretary and Tom Simmons AIFD, CFD of Three Bunch Palms Productions in Palm Springs, Calif. will continue to serve as treasurer of the Institute. 

Leanne Kesler AIFD, CFD of the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Ore. will serve as the membership chairperson and Lori Novak AIFD, CFD of Archibald Florist in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. will take on the role as AIFD’s 2016 Symposium Coordinator for “Inspiration” taking place July 3-7, 2016 in Orange County, Calif. Tom Simmons AIFD, CFD will be the Symposium Program Coordinator.

Thomas C. Shaner continues as AIFD's executive director and Kristen Philips, CAE, IOM continues as AIFD’s associate executive director. AIFD is headquartered in Baltimore.
