Duda’s Summer Program Features Michigan Produce

As summer temperatures heat up in Florida, climate and weather conditions in Michigan are optimal for harvesting peak of season fresh produce. To continually provide customers with the best fresh produce the summer months have to offer, Duda Farm Fresh Foods grows several products in Michigan.

Availability – Due to the location of the company’s facility in Michigan, Duda Farm Fresh Foods is able to offer a diverse mix of products to customers to continually meet demand. Starting in May and through the end of September, Duda Farm Fresh Foods grows Michigan corn, radishes, celery and green cabbage.

The company’s celery products are bred naturally and grown specifically to ensure optimal flavor, texture, nutrition and color.

Traditionally Michigan celery is mechanically harvested and shed packed. However, at Duda Farm Fresh Foods facility in Michigan, celery is hand harvested and field packed – which allows for more consistent sizing, fresher product and less mechanical damage to the product.

Quality – Duda Farm Fresh Foods has a well established alliance with proven growers in Michigan whose mission is to provide safe, high quality fresh produce, packed in the Dandy label. All of Duda Farm Fresh Foods’ growers and facilities in Michigan are Primus approved and GSFI certified.
