PHOENIX, Ariz. — Quick Flower Delivery, an online florist finder covering all 50 states and Washington, D.C., is heading into the holiday season with a simple model: Every order placed through the site is routed to an independent local florist near the recipient, who arranges the bouquet by hand and delivers it the same business day. No flowers are shipped in a box.
The service draws on some of the largest florist networks in the United States, providing access to more than 15,000 local florists. Delivery reaches 19,464 towns and cities, from major metropolitan areas to college towns and small rural communities, as well as hospitals, hospices, funeral homes, universities, hotels and offices.
How It Works
- Same-day delivery: Orders placed before 1 p.m. in the recipient’s local time zone, Monday through Saturday, are delivered the same day in most U.S. cities.
- Local fulfillment: Each order is assigned to a florist near the recipient, so flowers travel a few miles rather than across the country.
- Adaptability to local conditions: Florists adjust to local needs, using temperature-controlled vehicles and modifying order cutoffs during extreme weather.
- Easy location-based browsing: Customers can browse by state, county or city, with dedicated pages for each delivery area.
“Most people who send flowers online live far from the person receiving them,” said Simon Hedegård, founder of Quick Flower Delivery. “Our job is to connect that sender with a florist down the street from the recipient, so the order supports a local shop and arrives fresh the same day.”
Quick Flower Delivery also operates an affiliate program for bloggers, gift guides and local city websites. The program pays a 12% commission on the order subtotal, offers a 30-day cookie window and requires no approval process.
