GIANT Completes Major Remodel at York, PA, Store

CARLISLE, Pa., – On Friday, Oct. 2, The GIANT Company, known locally as GIANT and MARTIN’S, will celebrate the grand re-opening of its store located at 275 Pauline Drive, York, Pa. following several months of major renovations.

“For more than 35 years, GIANT has been proud to serve the grocery needs of the York community here at Pauline Drive,” said Todd Kinter, GIANT store manager. “The store team is excited to deliver this completed remodel for our customers, which offers improved flow throughout the various departments, increased product variety across the store, and GIANT’s signature focus on value and freshness.”

The York GIANT remained open during the remodels. Updates included:

The store’s signature fresh departments – produce, bakery, meat and seafood, and floral – in addition to the center store aisles have all been updated with improved efficiencies for shoppers and enhanced assortment of products.

For today’s busy customers, the deli and prepared foods departments have undergone a complete overhaul and now offer more hot and prepared foods and Grab ‘n Go items.

The store’s beer and wine area has been relocated to the front corner. Also at the front of the store is a newly updated customer service area.

The in-store pharmacy received a full redesign and replacement with the addition of a consultation room to administer vaccines in a more private setting.

GIANT’S signature Wall of Values has also been reimagined, offering one-stop shopping for key sale items from the weekly circular.

The York GIANT, which has served the local community since 1990, is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and employs approximately 225 team members.
