Fortifi Food Processing Solutions Acquires SEPAmatic Food Processing Design Solutions

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Fortifi Food Processing Solutions (“Fortifi”), a global leader in food processing automation, software and machine learning, has announced its acquisition of SEPAFood Solutions GmbH (“SEPAmatic”), a German engineering company specializing in development and production of separation and processing machines for red meat, fish, fruit and vegetables and also supplies machinery for cheese and dairy applications.

SEPAmatic also is a leading global provider of low-pressure belt separators. The acquisition includes SEPAmatic’s patented cooling system that manages heat rise during separation to enhance yields and product quality.

SEPAmatic designs and manufactures its technologies in Germany, including low-pressure belt separators and screw separators, perforated drums in multiple configurations, conveyors and spare parts. The company’s patented innovations include integrated cooling and speed regulation systems for its processing equipment. In addition to its equipment designs, the acquisition adds engineering talent and manufacturing capability in an essential European market that reinforces Fortifi’s global footprint.
