Joseph Gallo Farms Earns Three Awards at World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest

Madison, Wisconsin — Joseph Gallo Farms earned three awards at the 2026 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, with results recognizing both Joseph Farms cheese and Gallo Global Nutrition whey protein concentrate.
Gallo Global Nutrition WPC 80 earned first place in the Whey Protein Concentrate 80% class. Joseph Farms Monterey Jack earned second place in the Colby/Monterey Jack class, while Joseph Farms Part Skim Mozzarella received third place in the Mozzarella class.
“Having products from both sides of our business recognized in the same competition makes these awards especially meaningful,” said Mike Gallo, CEO of Joseph Gallo Farms. “Our teams take tremendous pride in what they produce, and earning recognition for our cheese and whey protein concentrate is a testament to the work they put in every day.”
The World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Dairy Products Association, recognizes excellence across a broad range of dairy products. The annual competition attracts dairy processors from throughout the United States and internationally.
With the two additional honors, Joseph Farms has now earned 28 cheese awards in 2026, continuing a year of recognition that includes honors from the California State Fair Commercial Cheese Competition, Los Angeles International Dairy Competition, and International Cheese & Dairy Awards in the United Kingdom.
