Cheyenne, Wyoming — Jeff “Trip” Tripician, Chief Executive Officer of Charcuterie Artisans, today announced his retirement from full-time executive leadership, concluding an extraordinary 42-year career leading and building some of the premium meat and dairy industry’s most respected companies and brands, including Procter & Gamble, Sara Lee, Borden, Perdue, Niman Ranch, and most recently, Charcuterie Artisans.

After successfully guiding the Company through acquisition diligence and a restructuring, Trip is retiring to allow the Company to transition into a growth phase under long-term leadership.

Over the course of his career, Tripician logged more than 3 million frequent flyer miles and spent nearly 4,000 nights away from home serving customers, mentoring employees, and growing businesses.

“After 42 incredible years—and more travel than I ever imagined—I want to slow down and spend more time with my family,” said Tripician. I’m looking forward to making more memories with my wife, my children and especially my grandchildren.”

While stepping away from the demands of leading a company full time, Tripician said he expects to remain connected to the industry in a much more selective capacity.

“I’ve been fortunate to spend my career in an industry I truly love, and I don’t expect to walk away from it entirely,” he said. “I’ll continue to lend my experience where I can through a few board roles and advisory opportunities, but this next chapter is really about creating more balance and making family my first priority.”

Widely recognized for his ability to build businesses, transform brands, and develop high-performing teams, Tripician leaves behind a legacy measured not only by the companies he helped grow, but by the countless people whose careers he helped shape. Throughout four decades in the industry, he earned a reputation as a trusted mentor, collaborative leader, and tireless advocate for customers, employees, and business partners alike.

“Trip has been an exceptional leader whose vision, integrity, and passion for people have left a lasting mark on every organization he’s served,” said Tracey Ryder, founder and CEO of Edible Communities and a longtime colleague. “He has an extraordinary ability to build brands, inspire teams, and invest in the success of others. I am personally grateful for his friendship, guidance, and the many contributions he has made to my career and company. His influence will continue to be felt throughout the industry for many years to come.”

For Tripician, however, the greatest accomplishment has never been measured by sales, acquisitions, or market share.

“I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented people throughout my career, and I consider myself fortunate to have learned from so many of them,” he said. “While I’m proud of the businesses and brands we’ve built together, what means the most is watching people grow into leaders and seeing their careers flourish. That’s the legacy I’m most grateful to leave behind.”
