Elgin, Minn. – – Honeybear Brands, a leading grower, marketer and developer of premium conventional and organic apples, pears and cherries, is projecting a strong organic apple season this Fall as it continues to increase its supply of organic fruit to feed consumers’ explosive demand.

According to Organic Produce Network’s annual report, organic produce sales reached $10.6 billion in 2025, marking 5.9% year-over-year growth and outpacing sales of convention produce which grew by 1.3%. Organic apple demand is growing strongly year over year, with 2025 sales at $740 million. Demand is driven by health-conscious consumers under age 40 (USDA).

Organics is a year ‘round effort, with Honeybear providing organic varieties of Honeycrisp, Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples through its dual hemisphere program. With consumers seeking healthy fruit options across all four seasons, retailers must ensure a continuous stock of organic apples.

“Honeybear Brands is feeding the growing appetite for organic apples. Retailers can count on us to keep them well stocked with organic apples throughout the year, because that’s what consumers are demanding,” said Chuck Sinks, president of sales and marketing, Honeybear Brands.

Honeybear Brands exhibited at the Organic Produce Show July 14-16 in Monterey, sharing its organic outlook with retailers.
