Pomeroy, OH — Snowville Creamery is proud to announce that its cultured buttermilk earned third place in the 2026 American Cheese Society (ACS) Annual Judging & Competition, placing in the category of Drinkable Cultured Products — Kefir, Drinkable Yogurt, Lassi, Buttermilk, or Other Drinkable Cultured Products (All Milks).

“This recognition is a reflection of the care and dedication our team brings to their work every day. Their commitment to quality and continuous improvement helps us keep raising the standard for every product we make, and I’m incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished,” said Celeste Bennett, General Manager.

This marks the second consecutive year Snowville’s Buttermilk has placed at the ACS Awards, following a second-place finish in 2025.

“We entered our full line of cultured products this year because we believe in the quality and potential of the entire portfolio. This award is an exciting step as we continue working toward establishing Snowville as a leading name across the cultured dairy category,” said Anna Shields, SheEO.

The ACS Awards are widely recognized as one of the most prestigious competitions in North America for cultured dairy products, with judges evaluating entries on flavor, texture, aroma, and overall quality.

Snowville Creamery’s Buttermilk is available at independent retailers and select grocery stores across Ohio and surrounding states.
