Giorgi Talks Mushroom Month with DC Officials

The Giorgi Mushroom Co. helped kick off National Mushroom Month in the nation’s capital with a commemorative event with D.C. officials.
As part of the day-long activities, Giorgi delivered fresh U.S.-grown mushrooms directly to USDA aboard a specially wrapped refrigerated delivery truck highlighting “America’s Favorite Mushroom.”
Giorgi Mushroom Co. CEO Mark Currie joined other mushroom producers to meet with USDA officials to celebrate U.S. mushrooms and its positive impact on communities and families nationwide.
