Houston-based Sysco Corp. (NYSE: SYY) has agreed to sell 11 distribution centers to Virginia-based Performance Food Group contingent on a successful US Foods-Sysco merger agreement.
The facilities Sysco has agreed to sell are owned by Illinois-based US Foods.
The distribution centers are in California, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona, Utah, Ohio, Nevada and Washington, and generate $4.6 billion in annual revenue, according to a statement.
