MONTEREY COUNTY, CA — Brighter Bites, a national nonprofit that delivers fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families’ hands, hosted its Third Annual Summer Luncheon in support of programming in Monterey County. During the event, guests were presented information on the impact made within the community, serving over 5,600 elementary school children with 20lbs of fresh produce per week along with nutrition education lessons and engaging food experiences.
