After being a critical player on the ABA government relations team for close to three years, ABA’s Mike Goscinski was recently promoted to Manager, Government Relations & Public Affairs. In this new position, Mike will be taking over the responsibilities of the Staff Liaison to the Logistics Committee as well as taking on additional responsibilities on nutrition related issues for the Food Technical Regulatory Affairs Committee. Prior to his new role, Mike served as the Executive Assistant to Lee Sanders, Senior Vice President, Government Relations & Public Affairs.
With a keen knowledge of Washington and the political scene, Mike is perfect in this role to assist the ABA Government Relations team continue to establish and build strong congressional relationships as well as add to ABA’s visibility on Capitol Hill. “Mike has been an extremely valuable player to the ABA GR Team since he started with us three years ago. He has a thorough understanding of how to maneuver the legislative and regulatory networks that are critical to ABA’s success for our advocacy objectives and goals,” said Lee Sanders.
