Trader Joe’s search for a distribution center has shifted its focus away from Jacksonville and toward Central Florida.
Real estate sources, who asked not to be named due to the sensitivity of the deal, told the Jacksonville Business Journal the specialty grocer is now vetting sites for a large distribution center in the Central Florida area.
The Business Journal reported in August that Trader Joe’s was searching Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia for a site for a distribution center, with refrigeration, up to 750,000 square feet.
