NewStar Fresh Foods Extends Line Of 'Pick Me' Products Into New Categories

Salinas, CA: NewStar Fresh Foods, North America’s largest shipper of iceless green onions, today announced the introduction of microwavable asparagus into the company’s line-up of “Pick Me” value-added products.

“Asparagus is the perfect extension to our recent launch of fresh herbs, culinary herbs and green onions in the “Pick Me” brand of products. This addition reflects our ongoing commitment to our retail partners by supporting their marketing efforts with convenient, high-quality products in consumer-friendly packaging” said NewStar owner Anthony Vasquez. He went on to state that; “We have found that our brand resonates with the buyer community and has continually demonstrated broad based consumer appeal.”

The “Pick Me” line of products is packed in brightly colored, consumer-friendly packaging, complete with a UPC, taste profile and usage suggestions for the “at home chef”. In fact, “Pick Me” recently received an award for package design.
