Growers Express Unveils New Crop Report App

Salinas, CA – Exhibiting industry leadership, and actively demonstrating their Values of Innovation and Efficiency, Growers Express has developed a first-of-its-kind mobile crop report.

“The goal for the new crop report was to create a convenient and valuable tool that keeps our customers posted on the crop factors affecting their decisions.  Our marketing team went above and beyond by creating a mobile app,” said Merritt Bruce, vice president of sales for Growers Express / Green Giant Fresh.

“We believe this new app will offer a unique way to help our customers quickly stay posted on crops, supply, market, weather and quality” said Bruce. Adding, “Customers will be able to find our latest next gen value-added products—or check the availability of a staple vegetable commodity—anywhere, anytime right from their phone.’ Users will also be able to contact sales directly through the interface for additional inquiries, or to take advantage of listed “hot buy” opportunities.

Available on both iOS (Apple operating systems) and Android devices, the free “GE Crop Report” app is now available for download. After a brief verification process, users will be able to access the same information they’ve been receiving, including weather forecasts by growing region, targeted commodity updates and historical reports, but in a more condensed, dynamic and real time format.
