Chrysal Helps Bees

Bees are extremely important for nature. Thanks to bees we can enjoy beautiful flowers and plants in nature and at our home. Unfortunately, there is a growing shortage of bees, and in a number of places in the world the bees have already disappeared. With various projects, Chrysal sets itself up for keeping bees. We do this by supporting the Women's Honey Hub in Africa. Africa is an important region where many flowers come from. But also closer to home by placing a hive behind Chrysal's international headquarters.

Chrysal and bees

For decades, Chrysal has been the best solution for keeping your flowers and plants long and beautiful. Before you can enjoy the beautiful flowers and plants at your home, bees are important for pollination. After all, no bees and plants without bees. Unfortunately, there is a growing shortage of bees. Chrysal understands the importance of bees in nature and is committed to maintaining bees. We support a local project in Africa, the Women's Honey Hub, but have also placed a hive behind our own office. With the aim: the most beautiful flowers and plants with the best care of Chrysal and finally a nicer world.

Bees for development

Chrysal supports the Mount Elgon Women's Honey Hub in Africa. Together with the Bees for Development organization, Chrysal helps poor families to set up a hive. This provides the much needed income for school fees, medication and nutrition, but also for improving the environment. In addition, Women's Honey Hub gives women a safe place to sell their honey. With the Women's Honey Hub, Chrysal and Bees for Development make it possible for women to start their own business, the honeycomb, and get out of poverty. This project also plays a major role in improving the environment in Africa.

Bees at Chrysal International

Chrysal also works for keeping bees at local level. Behind Chrysal's international headquarters in Naarden is a Chrysal beech place with no less than two bees volumes. Each bee population consists of 30,000 bees. 8 Chrysal International staff members take care of the bees so that they can be useful in the vicinity and may produce some Chrysal honey pots. Managing Director Joep Wiegel of Chrysal International has just met with the 'new employees'.
