Dannon Co. will invest at least $25 million in a major expansion of its Minster plant — once toted as the largest yogurt plant in North America.
The company is building a 300,000-square-foot refrigerated distribution center at its Minster location in southern Auglaize County along the Interstate 75 corridor. The facility will have 50 dock doors and five penthouses for refrigeration equipment.
Beavercreek-based Woolpert Inc. provided structural design services and worked with Mound Technologies, the steel fabricator, on the project. Sidney-based Ferguson Construction Co. is the general contractor building the facility itself, according to a Woolpert release.
