Tyler Phipps Memorial Foundation Announces Recipient Of York College Scholarship

Nixa, MO – Market Fresh Produce, on behalf of the Tyler Phipps Memorial Foundation, is pleased to announce that Austin Coy will be the 2017 recipient of the York College Scholarship. This scholarship will award $5,000 to an aspiring individual within the wrestling program at York College on an annual basis.

The mission of York College is to transform lives through Christ-centered education and to equip students for lifelong service to God, family and society. Tyler Phipps attended York College in Nebraska on a wresting scholarship. Russ Dudrey, his wresting coach at York said, “Both as a wrestling coach and as a college professor, I never knew a cleaner or finer young man than Tyler Phipps. He was an excellent wrestler and a model of strength and courage, integrity and discipline, but much more important, he was a model of Christian character and godly young manhood. He made us better wrestlers and better men.” Tyler completed his degree in Business and went on to work at Market Fresh Produce in the procurement division for eight years.
