PHILADELPHIA – Several months after food services giant Aramark opted to keep its global headquarters in Philadelphia, the company says it’s leaving its namesake high-rise in favor of another location in the city.

Aramark says it’s moving to the site of a former industrial building overlooking the Schuylkill (SKOO’-kul) River.

Developers say plans call for adding five new stories to the four-story building, creating 600,000 square feet of office space. The lower floors will feature commercial and retail tenants.
