Innovative Partnership Yields Exceptional Morning Kiss Organic Spring Crop Onions

Chelsea, MA – Spring produce is on its way to market, and onions from Morning Kiss Organic are expected to arrive early and healthy. Organic onions will be available in four varieties – sweet, red, yellow, and Vidalia.

Growing in Florida and Georgia, Generation Farms is Morning Kiss Organic's exclusive spring onion supplier. Brian Stanley of Generation Farms is optimistic about this season's harvest, citing a lack of cold weather that will contribute to an early crop. The Stanley family has established their respected onion growing and processing operations over the past three generations, bringing high-quality processing and operational management to their crop. Stanley says, "Our commitment to innovation has led us to make significant investments in new machinery this year. The equipment provides internal and external photos of onions to reveal any potential defects, meaning a more consistent and better quality product." In addition, Generation Farms holds GFSI certifications, matching the food safety commitment of Morning Kiss Organic.

Organic yellow onions are expected to arrive in late March, followed by red onions in early April. Georgia sweet onions will be available early April and will be offered until the start of the Vidalia pack date on April 12. 

Among the produce aisle's most versatile vegetables, onions can be enjoyed roasted, sautéed, caramelized, pickled, marinated, and more. In their raw form, they are a flavorful addition to sandwiches, burgers, salads, and homemade condiments. Onions are also an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C.

Morning Kiss Organic onions in all varieties will be available in different pack sizes and configurations, including 2lb and 3lb bags. All produce is packed fresh to order with daily deliveries, and Morning Kiss Organic offers highly customized retail programs to meet the needs of each individual retailer.
