Schuman Cheese Buys Fall Creek Factory

Schuman Cheese completed the purchase of a Fall Creek factory on Thursday, making it part of the New Jersey-based company that specializes in hard Italian cheeses.
Greenwood Packaging, 120 Brickyard St., will be renamed as Imperia-Fall Creek from the acquisition and the factory is expected to add jobs in the future, according to a Schuman Cheese news release.
Greenwood had previously been a partner for Schuman, producing some of the company’s products in the 54,000-square-foot Fall Creek factory.
