Five Former Maryland Food Lion Stores Will Re-Open As Weis Markets On Friday

Weis Markets will reopen five former Food Lion stores under the Weis banner Friday, part of Weis' conversion of 38 Food Lion locations in the Mid-Atlantic.

The stores are in Columbia, Elkridge, Mitchellville and at two sites in Gaithersburg.

The Sunbury, Pa., grocer also said Monday it has opened full-service pharmacies in three of its locations in Essex and Dundalk, all former Mars Super Markets locations.
