Tyson Fresh Meats To Add Workers, New Lines At Iowa Plant

Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale announced Wednesday that its beef and pork subsidiary, Tyson Fresh Meats, would add about 60 workers and new lines for pork chops and roasts to its plant in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Hiring will begin immediately for general maintenance and labor, material handling, and refrigeration, as well as various support positions in quality assurance, according to Tyson.
The Council Bluffs plant produces packaged beef and pork cuts, including closely-trimmed steaks, chops, roasts and spareribs for retail customers.
