PHILADELPHIA, PENN.— Love Beets USA, the brand of premium, all natural, ready-to-eat beet products, is rapidly taking root in the U.S. With a product line of marinated beets — including Sweetfire, Honey & Ginger, Mild Vinegar, White Wine & Balsamic and Organic Mild Vinegar — as well as plain vacuum-packed cooked beets and beet juice, Love Beets products can be found in more than 25 grocery chains nationwide, including Whole Foods Market and Costco.

As a result of the brand’s rapid growth, Love Beets USA has now added two to its team — Andrew Schwartz, who will serve as an equity investor and managing partner, and Joe McGuire, who will become the company’s general manager.

Love Beets USA former director Guy Shropshire, now director of the Spanish subsidiary of G’s Fresh, the British-based parent company of Love Beets, said, “I’ve known Andrew Schwartz and admired his business acumen for a long time. Andrew Schwartz is founder and CEO of Boca Raton, Florida-based Rosemont Farms, a business he grew into a vertically integrated company serving the needs of America’s largest retailers in multiple fresh produce categories. Following the sale of the company to C.H. Robinson in 2009, Schwartz served in several domestic and international leadership roles with the company.
