The Winter Fancy Food Show has been recognized as an annual event making an impact in San Francisco by BizBash, the leading trade media for event professionals. It was named the #2 trade show and convention.

According to BizBash, whether the attraction is a technology conference, a colorful parade, or a glitzy benefit, headline-grabbing events bring thousands to the Bay Area each year. The Winter Fancy Food Show has been named to the inaugural Top 100 annual events in San Francisco due to its outstanding work and influence in the industry.

The show is the largest trade show devoted exclusively to specialty foods and beverages on the West Coast. The next show takes place Jan. 11 – 13, 2015, at Moscone Center. The 2014 event attracted more than 19,400 buyers from top names in retailing and restaurants who made connections with 1,350 exhibitors representing the latest in specialty foods and beverages from across the U.S. and 35 countries and regions. Registration is open at www.fancyfoodshows.com

"When you look at the collective impact of these annual events, it's clear just how influential live experiences can be, and how San Francisco has grown as a hotbed for groundbreaking gatherings," says BizBash editor in chief Anna Sekula. "The California city is the home of hundreds of prominent conferences and events that represent huge opportunities for building communities and movements, starting debates, and allowing for the exchange of ideas."

"San Francisco is a thriving food community, and our show brings together top buyers and suppliers who are on the cutting edge of today's food trends," says Ann Daw, President of the Specialty Food Association, the show's owner and producer. "We are delighted to receive this honor."
