Scout Logistics Corporation, North America's leading perishable logistics specialist, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Ethan Kline to Operations Manager for West Coast Logistics. Ethan will oversee the daily operations of the West Coast program including carrier relations and freight management to and from major international produce hubs throughout North America.
“This new focus will immediately allow Scout to increase our ability to manage complex produce movements, including both North American shipments into and out of Western Canada, as well as Offshore programs with shipments originating from Europe, South America and the Middle East," said Lorne Swartz, President of Scout Logistics Corporation. "This was a natural progression here at Scout, and Ethan's knowledge surrounding logistics is simply unparalleled."
Ethan has over a decade of produce logistics experience managing ground and airfreight programs for some of the largest chains in North America. "I am excited to take on this opportunity and increase Scout's reach into the West Coast market. We aim to be able to provide service excellence from any produce growing region, be that in California or Columbia, Delaware or Dominican Republic," said Ethan.
