Big Wins for Prairie Farms Dairy at the 2023 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest

Prairie Farms Dairy was a big winner in the World Dairy Expo Dairy Product Contest, which unveiled the 2023 award winners on August 31. Prairie Farms and its family of companies won 62 awards in 38 of the contest’s 96 classes. Once again, Prairie Farms received more awards than any other company, making Prairie Farms Dairy the reigning contest champion. The final tally was 22 first-place awards, 23 second-place awards, and 17 third-place awards.

Prairie Farms Cheeses Earn Top Finishes by American Cheese Society

Two Prairie Farms cheese plants were among the top winners of the American Cheese Society Judging and Competition, the largest event of its kind for American-made cheeses. Awards for the 40th anniversary of the competition were announced on July, 19th at the Annual American Cheese Society Conference in Des Moines, IA. This year’s competition featured cheeses from nearly 200 companies with over 1,400 entries competing in 120 categories and tested by an esteemed panel of 30 judges.

Prairie Farms Dairy Celebrates 85th Anniversary & Dairy Month By Giving Back

Prairie Farms kicked off Dairy Month in a big way by partnering with 30 Feeding America® food banks to donate 85 pallets of milk, which is over 346,000 milk servings. The donation honors the cooperative’s dairy farm families for their essential role in providing milk and dairy products to American families for 85 years.
