PA Beef Council Hosts Retail Dietitians On Farm Tour

The Pennsylvania Beef Council and American Dairy Association North East joined forces to host more than two dozen registered dietitians on the first-ever collaborative beef and dairy farm tour geared towards this highly influential group of healthcare professionals.

Pennsylvania Beef Council Supporting Hands-On Culinary Education With Beef & Veal

Beef and veal have been popular this past year within middle and high school culinary classrooms across the state. For its tenth year, the Pennsylvania Beef Council (PBC) with support from Cargill, Formula 1 Feeds, Catelli Brothers, and Marcho Veal provided beef and veal grants to Family and Consumer Science educators during the 2022-2023 school year with over 3,400 students benefitting from the grant program.

Beef Your Way Through PA this Summer

It’s June and you know what that means? Summer grilling is underway and while we still encourage you to fire up your grill, we also invite you to get out and support local restaurants throughout Pennsylvania. The Beef Your Way Through PA passport, funded by Pennsylvania beef producers through the Beef Checkoff, features over 35 Pennsylvania restaurants across the state that serve outstanding beef.

May is Beef Month Kicked Off at The Capitol

To kick off the May is Beef Month celebration, the PA Beef Council (PBC) teamed up with PA Cattlemen’s Association (PCA), PA Livestock Association (PLA), and Center for Beef Excellence (CBE) on May 3, 2023, at the PA State Capitol. PBC in collaboration with the beef producer groups, coordinated the Ag Day Meat & Greet Reception, a time designated to showcase beef and agriculture in a big way.

PA Beef to PA Schools Works to Provide Quality Protein on the School Lunch Tray

The Pennsylvania Beef Council (PBC) has launched the “PA BEEF TO PA SCHOOLS” initiative in fall 2022. The program is spearheaded by the PBC with additional funding support from the PA Department of Agriculture through an ag commodity promo grant. Additionally, local farmers have also provided generous donations, as it remains a priority and passion to feed the next generation.
