JBS Goes Up in CDP Global Sustainability Ranking

JBS, the world’s largest food company, improved its performance in the CDP 2022 Climate Change Report, the largest and most respected global platform for corporate sustainability information.  In this year’s ranking, which has just been released, the institution raised the Company’s score from B to A- in Climate Change, above the average score (C) for food and beverage companies.

JBS USA Enters Agreement to Acquire Certain Assets from TriOak Foods

The two companies enjoy a long-standing business relationship, with JBS USA serving as the exclusive customer of TriOak market hogs since 2017.

JBS Announces New Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer

JBS S.A. communicates to its shareholders and to the market that Michael Koenig has been named the Company’s Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. Since August 2021, Koenig served as the Head of Ethics and Compliance for Pilgrim’s. He previously spent nearly 25 years as an attorney defending companies, individual executives and public officials in criminal, civil and regulatory investigations, and trials. Koenig was also a federal prosecutor at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.

JBS Withdraws Offer for Pilgrim’s Pride Shares
