The AFE Ambassador Award recognizes an individual, organization, or institution in the floral community for their exceptional leadership, advocacy, and devoted service to the Endowment’s mission.

Memorial Tribute Established in Memory of Andy Mast

A memorial tribute has been established in memory of Andy C. Mast through the American Floral Endowment by the Mast Family and friends at Ednie Flower Bulb Company, Fredon, NJ. Andy Mast, owner of Andy Mast Greenhouses and industry pioneer, passed away on July 8th, 2023, at the age of 76.

22 Students Recognized with Scholarships

The American Floral Endowment (AFE) has awarded 22 students from 13 universities with scholarships, totaling $58,100. In 2023, AFE received 86 applications from colleges and universities all over the nation. Congratulations to the Scholarship Class of 2023! The Endowment also gives a special thank you to the 52 industry members who reviewed and scored the applications.

Ashlie Tagawa Mohr Appointed to AFE’s Vic & Margaret Ball Committee

Ashlie Tagawa Mohr has been appointed as the newest member of the American Floral Endowment’s(AFE) Vic & Margaret Ball Intern Scholarship Committee. She is currently the Director of Human Resources and Intern Coordinator for Tagawa Greenhouses in Brighton, Colorado, where her focus is on staffing, training, and employee relations.
