Two Scholarships Available for Dairy Promoters from American Dairy Association North East Region  

American Dairy Association North East is offering two scholarships for college students who have completed one year of post-secondary education and are interested in agriculture, dairy product marketing, dairy manufacturing, agricultural communications, journalism or dairy product nutrition. Applications are due December 31.

Retailers including Weis, ShopRite, Giant and Price Chopper are also promoting Holi-Dairy Magic in the dairy case in stores and online to reach digital shoppers. ADA North East is also working with retail registered dietitians who highlight the nutritional value of dairy with their shoppers.

Customized Communications Coaching offers a unique training experience featuring the tools, along with trends and data and a focus on key messages to help answer tough questions. Key messages address animal care, environmental stewardship, and the nutritional value of dairy and are packaged to provide easy talking points.

Local Dairy Checkoff Seeks Independent Producers for Board of Directors 

To be considered for a board seat, nominees must be an active dairy farmer in the ADA North East service region which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware or the counties of Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington and Prince William in Virginia.
