Jann Dickerson Awarded New Role as Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute Domestic Foodservice Marketing Representative

Dickerson has worked with ASMI for over 20 years, a long association with ASMI, serving most recently as head of foodservice national accounts. The new role will oversee the integration and execution of both foodservice distribution and operator programs to increase synergy across ASMI’s domestic marketing program.

Alaska Salmon Fishery Recertified to RFM Standard

On June 2, 2020 the Alaska salmon fishery successfully achieved recertification to the Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) Certification program. This is the first fishery to be assessed using Version 2.0 of the Alaska RFM Fisheries Standard. The Alaska salmon fishery originally received RFM Certification in March 2011.
