Verlasso™ salmon is raised in a manner that supports a balance between ocean ecosystems, farmed salmon and wild fish populations with a breakthrough approach that reduces by 75 percent the number of feeder fish captured from the ocean required to raise salmon.

Currently these Omega-3s come from fish oils provided by wild-caught feeder fish. Verlasso™ is renewing nature’s balance by reducing our reliance on feeder fish from the oceans and replacing fish oil with Omega-3s derived from yeast,” Nichols added.
