Seattle-based Trident Seafoods Corp. will convert the former Chiquita building in Carrollton, Ga., into a seafood processing facility and employ 175.
The new plant represents a $41 million investment in Georgia, Gov. Nathan Deal’s office said.
The facility will be in a 104,000-square-foot building that formerly housed a food production facility for Chiquita. Trident plans to expand the facility by 43,000 square feet.
