ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – Lent isn’t just a busy time for seafood brands, it also happens to be a season when shoppers are looking to restore calm in their everyday lives. So, as shoppers look for quick-and-easy meal ideas during these seven weeks, SeaPak is sharing “Moments of Zen” ideas designed to bring more mindfulness to the kitchen.
The new campaign, an extension of the brand’s “Chillax” persona, is built with busy moms and dads in mind. Much like SeaPak’s products, “Moments of Zen” has something for everyone, noted Leslie Harris Thomas, the marketing manager atSeaPak Shrimp & Seafood Co.
“Our goal is to help seafood lovers find their happy place in the kitchen by eliminating the stress that goes into meal prep and menu planning,” said Harris Thomas. “We’re positioning the frozen food aisle as the ultimate resource for hassle-free cooking this Lent. And, through a variety of media content, including a branded recipe video distributed via BuzzFeed Tasty and a product integration during an episode of Food Network’s “The Kitchen,” we’re showing consumers we’re in this together.”
“SeaPak is very committed to growing and evolving with the seafood shopper through various life stages,” Harris Thomas explained. “We want to help consumers relax more by delivering high-quality, great-tasting, easy-to-make seafood options.”
The national campaign is designed to show moms and dads how to make life more manageable and enjoyable through a variety of content, including: tips, recipes, videos, influencers and coupons. As part of the promotion, SeaPak will also feature a seven-week #MondayMoments social media series focusing specifically on adding more mindfulness to everyday life. The brand is deploying its campaign media and messages across several platforms, including Hulu, ClearStream, Facebook, Instagram and Google. At retailers nationwide, shoppers will be greeted with an attention-grabbing free-standing insert, encouraging consumers to “Find Your Tasty Balance” by highlighting seafood meals that can be made in either 15 or 30 minutes.
